An experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual is required for thispost in Blood Sciences at the Chesterfield Site within Derbyshire Pathology.
Working in this busy and dynamic area of Pathology, the successful candidate will provide day-to-day supervision of the Medical Laboratory Assistant staff in their wide range of roles within the pre and post analytics sections in Blood Sciences.
The successful candidate will have a passion for training and be responsible for undertaking training of new MLA's and other biomedical scientist staff.
In this key area of the laboratory, you will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of blood sciences specimen receipt and reporting processes.
You will be an effective communicator to share this knowledge with the MLA team to ensure a high-quality service is always maintained.
Initial working hours will be Monday-Friday 9:30am - 6pm but this may develop in the future in line with service need.
