Personal Care Assistant for a young boy P/T @ £11.91/hr in Berwick-upon-tweed - FTE £24.8k

We are looking to recruit a committed enabler to support a 8 year old young boy who has a diagnosis of autism. The support will be offered to provide a range of activities within the local community to include walks in the park, countryside, and woodlands. On occasions drives out in the car. Main Duties

To support for 4 hours per week in school holidays with activities in the local community with an additional 4 hours (8 per week x 6 weeks) in the summer holidays
To build a secure relationship with the young boy and his family
To encourage interactions appropriate to the activities being accessed
To prompt the young boy with toileting needs when required
To administer medication if required and full training will be provided

Have a happy positive caring nature.
Have an outgoing personality.

Rates of pay £11.91 per hour. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata) Out of pocket expenses will be met by the Employer. This post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references (Cost to be met by Employer). Car driver is essential and must have Business Insurance.
