HSE MANAGER – Manchester – 45k

A great opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join a food manufacture in Greater Manchester.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director.

The Role.

Driving H&S Performance with a hands-on approach.
Organise internal and external reporting requirements, ensure all legislation is up to date, compliance is consistently followed and monitor on site performance set against key performances indicators.
Manage, lead, and organise the audit requirements.
Develop and implement Behavioural Safety/ Environmental Awareness culture development activities across all functions to support keeping people healthy and safe

The Candidate.

Ideally you will have a food manufacturing background however this is not essential to this position
NEBOSH Diploma. Certificate will suffice with a view to achieve diploma later.
IEMA certificate in Environmental Management, preferably NEBOSH/NCRQ level 6.
Proactive and passionate approach to HSE matters.
