Post No. PE1011 - Countryside Warden (WCP & PROW)

An opportunity has arisen to join the Countryside Team as a Countryside Warden. This role is a part-time role – working three full days per week (22.5 hours). The successful candidate will report into the Senior Countryside Warden.

To provide support to the Green Service Team of Streetscene. Work will include management and construction of access improvements and management duties across the Public Rights of Way network and on countryside sites owned and managed by Newport City Council This is an outdoor role that will contribute to public appreciation, access and enjoyment of Newport's countryside and environmental open spaces.

The job description sets out the main result areas of the post at the date when it was drawn up. Such duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the post or the level of responsibility. Such variations are a common occurrence and cannot in themselves justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
