Job Description & Requirements
HGV Class 2 Multi Drop
Salary: ÂŁ37,960, 45 hours PW
Shift: Monday-Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays
Portbury
If youâre looking for a driving career rather than a driving job â then this is the ideal opportunity for you. As the largest food service provider in the UK, we offer a level of security, stability, and opportunity thatâs hard to find. Together with some of the best benefits in the business. Things like heavily discounted high-quality food that could help halve your food shopping budget, standardised shifts with permanent Sundays off and world-class training and development.
Join us as a driver and the sky really is the limit. Youâll start with a thorough nine-week induction thatâs both on the road and in the classroom. Weâll move at your pace. Youâll gain experience, learn your route with a Training Support Driver and when youâre ready â set out on your own. As a Multi-drop driver, youâll be picking stock from the back of your vehicle at each stop, which keeps your day interesting and breaks the driving up. It keeps you fit too. You will need to have your Class2 licence, up to date CPC and digital tachograph!
Whatâs really special about a driving career with us though, is the time and money we spend on helping you to develop and grow. If youâre a newly qualified Class 2 driver, youâll gain valuable experience in a driving role. If youâre a van driver looking to move into HGV driving, our âChanging Gearsâ training programme will support you to achieve your Class 2 qualification. And, if youâre an experienced driver, our coaching and training opportunities could support you to develop into fleet management, driver training, planning, and many more senior level roles. We also offer some pretty impressive benefits too:
- Generous annual leave with option to buy more
- Heavily discounted quality food, hotels, and restaurants
- Reward, recognition, and referral schemes
- Free food days, family days and summer BBQs
- Pension scheme
- Charitable events to get involved with
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free onsite parking with electric points
- Occupational Health Physio on site
- A health and wellbeing programme, to look after you.
People will always need to eat. So, weâll always need to deliver food.
Join our valuable team of drivers and see how far you could go with us.
